Bismark is currently the Programs Officer in charge of Capacity Building at the All-Africa Students Union (AASU)in Accra and also the Project Officer for the Global Student Forum (GSF) headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. Bismark has a strong interest in student leadership, developed from leading students from high school to university through to the regional and global levels. He exemplifies an individual with a strong passion for students and youths skill development and is an ardent advocate for lifelong learning opportunities and capacity building. Bismark has sat on various student committees to develop strategic plans to ensure the welfare of students at the tertiary level and has also been a member of panels to select student leaders for university Student Representative Councils and National Student Unions.
Bismark has been involved in professional and entrepreneurial capacity building for students, student leaders and youth across Africa. He has been involved in the organization of various conferences, workshops and summits across the world. These include AASU’s Africa Students and Youth Summit (ASYS), the GSF’s Academy in Leadership and Advocacy (ALA) and Student Leaders Capacity Building Workshops. Bismark has been instrumental in putting TVET training at the centre of government policy to curb unemployment and has been advocating for African youth to take up skills in areas in TVET to reduce unemployment in Africa. He has been involved in stimulating various partnerships to support 21st-century skills training for youth in order to strategically position them for the current world of work and entrepreneurship.
Bismark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, and is currently a final-year postgraduate student offering International Relations at the University of Ghana.
